At this time, I would like to introduce 7 items that you should have after getting BMPCC.

１．SD Card SanDisk Extream pro 128GB
As you know, BMPCC can take RAW footage. However, it becomes huge data and usable SD card is restricted. Blackmagic Design announced that this SanDisk card supports RAW recording on BMPCC. If you think “I only use ProRes”, you don’t have to use this one, but BMPCC can take RAW. Why not try? By the way, please be careful when you buy this one. There are tons of “fake” SanDisk card.
２．Cage made by SmallRig “BMPCC 2012”
You should possesses a cage at least if you done’t have any handle or something like that in order to protect BMPCC from shock.
Especially, BMPCC HDMI jack is easy to break. the “Cable clamp” is the most important feature to protect it. Please note this SmallRig BMPCC 2012 cage has a function that clamps HDMI cable without any interfere of other cables such as DC, headphone and microphone.
３．LCDVFBM monitor food LCD view finder
BMPCC monitor brightness is pretty low and it is useless at outside on sunny day. This view finder provides certain monitoring environment you wherever. This viewfinder has magnetic attachment and it’s very easy to detach/attach to BMPCC.
４．Lanparte LANC Remote controller
BMPCC has “LANC” interface such as video camera, and LANC wired remote controller is connectable. This remote controller has only REC button simply. If you attach this controller to your pan bar or handle of cage, you can control REC start/stop without BMPCC body’s REC button operation.
５．Compatible battery and Dual charger
The short battery life is also one of week points of BMPCC, you should have a lot of batteries. This battery contains dual charger, you can charge 2 batteries at same time. In addition, this charger can use USB DC power, and you can charge batteries during transportation and at outside by using mobile battery.
６．Battery plate, SONY NP-F970 battery, and dual charger.
If you want you don’t take care about battery life on shooting, you should use this set. NP-F970 is made for SONY video camera provide DC power to BMPCC for long time. This dual charger has LCD display and shows status of batteries. In addition, this charger has USB output and you can use it as well as mobile battery. The products that works USB power might work by this product.
７．Metabones Speedbooster BMPCC-EF mount adapter
I don’t have this mount adapter yet. BMPCC focal length is longer as 2.88 times as 35mm censor camera. then wide angle view is difficult to realize. Therefore, focal reducer attached mount adapter is variable. (But price is pretty expensive) You can use your EF lends assets and it makes increase lends aperture. I’ll buy it some day.
How about this article? You need a lot of money as higher as BMPCC price to use comfortable.
